One of my favourite lenses. I use it as a walk about, for internal architecture, landscapes and shooting car shows. It's incredibly versatile, and although it's only f4, it shoots amazing pictures.

So, lets celebrate this lens with a few pictures, show us your 10-24 shots. I'll start off with 3 different images, none of which is a typical wide angle shot....

Love the dog picture, didn´t know the 10-24 had that type of shot in it! Is the fox picture cropped, seems awful close. Thanks for sharing.

It's one of my favorite travel lenses. Great for panoramas too:

Is the Fox image RAF or SOC JPEG?

I like everything about those three images.

I've only had mine a couple of months, but I've been very happy with it.

    At about 14mm

Here's one it probably was not designed or intended for - tracking a fighter jet in flight. At 24mm, that little silver thing is a German Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon going through "Star Wars Canyon" in Death Valley, California last month.

Thank you. I only shoot RAW unless I'm looking to upload images to my iPad & PP on the go.

The image of the dog had some additional PP to give the impression of a narrower DoF. To be honest, it was a grab shot of next doors dog, and the background was a mess and I needed to tidy it up, but the detail that it gave was very pleasing.

The fox was just a couple of metres away. I use the 10-24 as my walkaround lens, and it's amazing what you can shoot and the POV with 20 - 24mm focal length. It will then open up to 10mm if you want to go ultra wide....

It is a wonderful lens for the kind of things I do. By far my favorite zoom lens.

Sorry, but that's the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin with a trio of Trabants driving along
It was hot though, 24c just after Easter whilst it was cold and wet in the UK

I've been there too, should have realised. Rome has a structure similar I think... (Last time I was in Berlin it was freezing, mid January if I recall...)

Of course it is. How can anyone mistake that for Rome:rolleyes:

Just sold my 10-24. I found it too big and bulky and couldn't handle distortion wide open and close up.
Got a Laowa 9mm and use that with the 18.55 when I'm not on primes.

They are Trabants or Trabis as they are affectionately known, the workers car from the former East Germany.
You can hire them to drive around Berlin, fascination with the communist period "Ostalgia" is big business.

I've seen a Trabant Fire Engine in a museum somewhere in this country. Leeds I think, or maybe York. Or maybe Manchester. Wouldn't fancy that trying to save me!
