    It might make for a cleaner view, but as a sense of place, the 'as is' version with the sign would be my choice.

    Yes - otherwise we might think you are in Newcastle, UK.

    I find the contrast a little high around the sign, and the image probably does work better without it. But personally, I'd leave it in, as it provides better context and sense of location. Maybe darken the sky slightly?

    good idea

    it was shot in raw standard and converted to sepia.

    will try soften the contrast. it was a dull day so not much details in the sky.

    should have a step or two to the left to capture a bit of the opera house.
