I am interested in a screen protector for my Fuji X T-2. I have tried films, but sooner or later, they tend to peel off. I don't use the screen for actual shooting very often, but mostly for menu changes, etc.

I have seen plastic flip covers on some Nikons and perhaps Canons. Does anyone have experience with these or a similar product on a Fuji X T-2? Will they even fit.

If not, what kind of screen protector do you use?

Thank you for your considered input.

I have been using a glass type screen protector from a company called Please login or register to view links. I cant remember how I found them and they are in Europe and I am in the US but somehow the shipping and delivery are both very reasonable. I have bought their protectors for my last four cameras and have never had one peel or come off. Good service, good product.

I've tried the Giottos Glass covers that are so highly thought of but found that when they break they have sharp pieces that are more of a problem than I cared to deal with. I have had the film type and don't care for the bubbles or the pealing. My favorite is AAMaxx or something like that from Ebay. They are a hard plastic, custom fitted to the particular camera and while they get scratched, they don't seem to break and as they are very affordable, it doesn't bother me to replace them occasionally.

I have had very good success with the Expert Shield lcd protectors. If you have a problem with their product, even if you screw it up installing it they will replace it. Excellent customer service.

I have not seen any flip up protectors for Fuji cameras. I have seen them on some other DSLRs, however I think they were part of the camera itself.

Hi, I use the Expert Shield protecters and find then very good having used then for several years. They are thicker than the cheaper brands and are easier to fit. I might try tempered glass protesters one day. I'm not sure if the protecters effect the Fuji models with touch screens as I don't use this facility.

I have had an Expert Shield on my X-T1 for 3 years, hardly noticeable and completely trouble free.

    Screen protectors aren't really necessary.

Ive been using these, they are toughened glass so less likely to bubble and get scratched.

They chip at the corners eventually, looking back through my Amazon account I have bought one every September since getting my X-T1.

TBH my X-T1 looks like a WW2 relic now with all the paint chipped off it so probably not worth changing the protector again...

This is exactly the one I tried and after three attempts, I am a bit discouraged. Much to the company's credit, however, they did replace them several times at no cost!

I'm using film, just cutting size smaller than screen so it never peels off.
It's easy to remove air bubbles by adding few drops of water on screen prior to applying film.

Glass screen once damaged one of my older camera screen after breaking, so I'm not using glass since that.
Also some plastic/glass screens with adhesive borders may let dust come under the screen which also damages screen surface from the pressure.
