Some very small reflections!

Budget cuts bite in the North East
Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada, 2009. Pentax K20D, DA40mm pancake lens.
I saw a black Nissan Xterra in one of the earlier pictures in this thread, and that reminded me of my old Xterra. Taken in Jan 2006 a few days after I bought it, about 14 miles from the nearest pavement. Anza Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego County, California. Drugstore minicab scan of a Fujicolor negative.
The same black Nissan Xterra, a bit further up the same canyon from the last picture, about 6 years later in Jan 2012. Yes, the "road" does continue around that bend. Pentax K7, Pentax 16-45. I traded the black Xterra in 2014 for a silver one. I bought the new one at night, and the next morning I realized what a huge mistake I had made - the black one was a much better subject photographically in the Southern California desert. Oh well.

In a small shopping mall yesterday : there is a beautiful display of colourful umbrellas
