AdamInNy, can you confirm that the AD360mkii definitely gives HSS with the X1T-F as I may try get one as I like the smaller size and power of the AD360 range.

Thanks. At least that means that I have the knowledge I can get an AD360 mkii if necessary.

If you have camera X-T1 you may use my solution (Please login to view links) and wait till in new firmware Godox will fix issue with other cameras. If you have another camera model, you definitely better to buy AD360 mark II. I would not recommend AD200 because it han not enough power to overpower the sun. I am using AD360 mark I at power 1/1 and aperture 5,6 and better 8 when shooting in bright sunny day.

Well, unless you get two AD200s and the Please login to view links. At which point, the output is only -0.5EV less than an AD600...

Dual AD200 is much more expensive than an AD360II, but gives the option of having two separate lights, as well as a larger single light with LED modeling lights, and there's no hanging corded battery pack.

Not saying the AD360II might not be the better choice, just that opinions differ. I'm hanging out on boards where a lot of AD360 owners are planning on selling their AD360s to get more AD200s.

I have AD600s and now AD200. To me even one AD600 is not powerful enough for overpowering the sun. You need min of two AD600. I need to order the 1200ws flash tube head.

Power wise, looks AD600 is not 600ws as difference beteen Ad200 and AD600 is less that what it should be based on their max power.

Advantage for AD600 is the remote head. Even with one AD400 on top of the lightstand, it is heavier than extension head. Two AD200 are much heavier and you still need sandbag. With AD600 I don't need sandbag.

One big negative of AD200, the screen is barely readable outside.

I was testing today and there is no way I could get HSS with any of my Godox triggers (X1T-N, X1T-F, XT32, XT16, XF16) with my Fuji X-T2. However I could if I used my Cactus V6 Mkii units.
I now need to see how I can get everything to fire across multiple channels with Cactus and Godox triggers.

    I didnt try a combo of TT350-F and AD360mki
I got disturbed by a customer half way through. More testing tomorrow if I get time.

Who said this stuff was easy!

Got the X1T-F and the original AD360. It fires, but I can't figure out how to control the power output from the transmitter. I can change the power settings on the X1TF but that doesn't change the power output of the flash. What setting did I miss?

I dont understand how he is managing that unless he is getting the TT600 to trigger the AD360mk1 in some way.
First of all he is using the X1T-F with the FT16 (433Mhz) in its hotshoe on the camera. That is logical. The AD360mk1 has the FR16 (433Mhz) in its USB socket.

Today I tested this out and it didnt work for me at all. My FT16 and FTR16 dont seem to be working! They definitely used to.
When I move up to the XT16(2.4GHz) and XTR16 that doesnt work. However if I swap in the XT32C for the XT16 then this works as does the XT1-F. But no HSS.
However if I put the XT32C into the hotshoe of the X1T-F then I can use HSS up to 1/1000 but above I get a small band on base of frame.
If I use the X1T-F alone then I cannot get HSS at all so sync to 1/250 works but above that there is no firing of the flash at all.

    There is something strange happening.

I am wondering if there are some subtle differences in the Flashpoint AD360Mk1 over the Godox AD360Mk1.

I think you need to use the XT16 or XF16 units to adjust power.

Godox need to address this via a firmware update for the X1T-F.

    OK it all works now.
The DIP switches on my XT16 and XT16R, XF16 and XF16R had been changed.

OK I have done a full retest.
I found out what the problem was! Somebody who used my stuff last, had changed the DIP switches on the controllers. This explains why it was not working when I tested earlier.

OK all settings as suggested by BoomeArt are implemented and tested. Working!

I have HSS on my X-T2 using .........
either my Cactus v6 mkii units with the Godox AD360mki

or more usefully with the X1T-F with the XF16 and XF16R (433MHz) triggers up to 1/8000th

    or the XT32 and XT16R (2.4MHz) up to 1/1000th

or with the XT16 and XT16R (2.4MHz) up to 1/500th.

So if you have the AD360mki use the older XF16 and XF16R (433MHz) triggers for best HSS speed.

Finally I have HSS on my Fuji cameras in the same way as I have for my Nikons.
Thanks to all who have helped and contributed.

So back to proper work...... Taking photos.

So if you didn't own anything, what flash, what controller would you get? (for an xp2, x100F, xt1)

will this controller work with either of the two smaller Fuji flashes or with the Nissans like the i40? or is it really necessary to get new speedlites?

    thanks...

I did testing with Flashpoint R2 flash and R2 transmitter I received today. I posted may results Please login to view links here. I got all my Godox mark 1 ( AD360 & V850) equipment AKA flashpoint Mark 1 to do HSS. I also got the mark 1 to work with the R2 Flashpoint in HSS with the set to TTL HSS. Camera XT-2. It all worked! Understand the mark 1 will only do HSS not TTL. But can work with the mark 2 equipment set in TTL & HSS

Godox XT1-F, Godox AD600BM, Godox AD360mkii, TT350-T. Just like have now. (Except that I have the AD360mki).
All this stuff also works on my Nikons as I also have a X1T-N as well.
