I posted a macro photo of a rose about a week ago that was inspired by one of Georgia O'Keeffe's flower paintings, so I created this one in an entirely different vein that was a riff on "The Scream".

When my (usually beautiful and not at all zombie-like or wraith-like) girlfriend was in the shower when we were on vacation in Thailand, I saw the potential for this shot through the fogged up and wet glass shower enclosure, and grabbed my X-T1 and 56mm.

Even though she usually hates her photo being taken, her being a professional painter made her a bit more willing to indulge my aspiring creativity and she let me shoot this quite bizarre, (to me) nightmarish image, which she now likes. Who would have guessed?:)

More reminiscent of „Psycho“, if you ask me (which you probably don‘t). But yes, looking really scary - well done!

I hadn't though of it looking like something from "Psycho", but now that you mention it, it absolutely feels like the scene that Janet Leigh is grasping at the plastic shower curtain! Thank you!
