    Great shot, I like her eye direction as is. When studying photojournalism I had the privilege of being tutored by Ted Grant, and amazing person and PJ. One of his learned skills was to direct the attention and thoughts of his subject when doing portraits or character studies. He would do this by having picked some points of interest ahead of time and asking the subject to look for them or to look for a detail on them that didn't really exist. During intense scrutiny or thought, you have a fleeting chance to capture exactly what you have here.

    The light, the expression, the subject and make up are spot on - nothing fake or posed is sensed.
