When you see something to photograph, don't delay in finding your composition. The day following my recent Marigold photo a heavy rain broke the stem. It is, alas, no more! Beauty is fleeting. :(

taking photos is to capture the moment

i find lots of young girls willing to take nude photos for keeps. as evidence to show their grand daughters later in life how beautiful their grand ma was when young. :)

This is so true. Although I try to always have a camera with me there are times I do not. This seems to happen more when the camera is not with me. With the thought of the best camera in the world is the one you have with you, the Samsung Galaxy S7 come out of the pocket. Blasphemy!.........but it works.

Don't feel bad for using a Galaxy S7. I carry an ancient Note 4. I don't want an upgrade as it does everything I need.

I've had my trusty Note 5 for over 3 years now and as you say : no need to upgrade since I does everything I need.

I also use my Note 4 everyday, for everything +photos. Some says I also carry my older Nokia N8 (terrific camera), and I always carry the pocketable Sony rx100m3.
Even though, I can avoid missing some interesting shots, because live doesn't wait for me to have my smartphone or camera ready to shoot

I use a Galaxy S7, works great and I do some video work with it using Filmic Pro, great footage from it. I see no reason to upgrade the phone, it is used as an occasional camera which it does well but mostly has a phone which also works well. Totally agree to get the shot when you can, never good to wait.
