Was doing my daily morning walk to take some picture of a few remaining flower of the season using a manual 35mm lens
First shot fired, about to take the second shot... then heard a humming sound coming from behind...

...And that's the second shot with the little brat (inches away from my lens) ... interrupting my concentration :)

    X-T2, Mitakon 35mm, 1/6000s, f/1, ISO 400, -2eV
    Thanks for looking!

Nice one. Now you can tell people that you are so good that you can manually focus on a humming bird in flight just using a standard prime.

    Thanks but no thanks :)
That was nothing more than a fluke ;)

I'm learning everyday of how to shoot this tiny with tremendous speed specie that requires a lot of patience and proper gears
It is still indeed my most challenging bird to photograph.

Taken today (raining so kind of darker lighting condition than previous day)
Same flower, no sign of bird, using my pocket camera :)
